The Journey To Paradise Begins With Jumbled-Up Luggage

Most people try to put their best foot forward in their
"undertakings and over doings." It is pretty much human
nature to do our best. For some it's a deep personal
preference, while for others the desire is deeply rooted in
satisfying peers and maybe even glean a little approval.
Neither is right or wrong and probably most of us are some
combination thereof.
So it is with Pandora's Planet and its journey to Paradise.
First, because of complexities surrounding the completion of
Planet Concourse; the Paradise Challenge is forced to launch from
a temporary albeit functional platform - and that
platform still needs work - but should that delay the whole
trip? Certainly, according to the experts, it is a big faux
pas to pre-launch a site--but is it ever really ready?
Truth of the matter is we're always changing, adding and
editing. Who decides what is ok to happen, whether it's
beta, alpha or just plain not ready. I submit...we're
ready...because we're on the Journey to
Paradise--now!
Imagine filling your tank with gas, starting the engine in
preparation for a journey, however you never arrive, the result
of running out of gas because of your obsession with rearranging
luggage in the car. You never reach your destination and
the people on the other side really only wanted to see you?
In web speak; we do have a bit of leeway - were it required -
since this is a social network of a site and
NOT the site itself. Although, that within itself has
quickly become a gray area. So, our journey begins in a way we
find oddly appropriate, without presumed perfection, and with a
challenge to the cliché "it's not the
destination but the journey that counts." Seems
a fairly reasonable challenge, since the destination is
really what Pandora's Planet is all about. And so it
is...we begin our journey--jumbled up luggage, and all.
Paradise Waits For No One. Paradise is Peace, Prosperity and Happiness but Not Perfection...yet!
….. Bottom Line...things will be moving around (you could be watching a movie and POOF it’s gone), added and edited over the next 24 hours. Glad for any feedback, but you may want to wait until 12-12-12 to send OR NOT.
Rewriting Legends of Peace

Is it me, or do you get the sense that for way too many people it
has been a foregone conclusion that; there always has been pain
and suffering, therefore there always will be pain and
suffering? Those sorts of little pesky unpleasant situations which find
a staggering number of our fellow human beings - our sisters and
brothers, physically, mentally, spiritually and socially
impoverished - mere shells of subsistence, are simply a part of
our culture that will always be here and will never go
away?
However, through prisms of global economic instability, planetary
changes and the “science yet
unexplained” mysteries of the 2012 Mayan calendar,
people are responding with heightened awareness’s and new senses
of responsibility, both to the planet and one
another.
For centuries we’ve been bombarded by declarations that suggest
humans, a so called advanced species has resigned itself to the
inkling that peace is an ideological impossibility. Such
expositions
cast a pall which foreshadows, overpowers and all but annihilates
the valiant efforts of individuals and small groups. From the
broadcastings of ancient prophets to present day promulgations
from the highest leaders of the land we are continually subjected
to the cries of men whom blazingly scoff at the notion that peace
is in our grasp. I even heard a telepreachers -- Jack Van
Impe recently warn against getting rid of nuclear weapons yet in
the next breath pray to Jesus for peace. What are your
thoughts about that?
As such, it is distinctly evident that any and all efforts,
(including planet sustainability initiatives), that do not
provide distinguishable activities that focus on the advancement
of each person’s RIGHT to a sovereign peaceful existence will
ALL WAYS fall short of the goal.

woman who was curiously handsome. Yes, I'd say a woman with such
courage bares reflection on her birthday...besides she took a
great photograph (even without photoshop). Happy Birthday Amelia!

Every human being in this world is charged with the duty of contributing towards making a “more perfect union”. To me, it’s the price of liberty, in society and in our hearts and minds. Yet, the beauty of our human spirit is that it's up to each of us to participate at any level we'd like—or not. From my perspective, we really don’t have the choice of WHEN anymore, simply HOW?
On this honored day to remember what Americans have accepted as their birthright, let me remind you of the opening to The U.S. Constitution and its amazing, self-renewing dream:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Powerful? Yes it is because it is a keen reminder that perfecting the “Union” is a hard, ongoing process. It doesn’t appear perfect. It never will. And it's up to us to stay engaged in that never-ending process of creating a better human spirit and therefore a better planet. So, on this Fourth of July, I ask you, my fellow spirits, to be thankful for all our freedoms, to be grateful to all who've sacrificed to get us here, and to remember that as the “Melting Pot of the World” we are all ONE!
Congratulations! It's a beautiful and quite Handsome Boy!

Congratulations to our Participant Support Director, Sister and Friend, Stephanie Charette (AutumnRose) for a smooth delivery of her newest bundle of joy, William Joseph Charette. She’s amazing! You would think we run a sweat shop or something over here because in less than two hours after we got the news, she was responding to business emails we’d written earlier in the day.
Stephanie was working yesterday morning, and the next thing we
knew, we get an email - FROM HER, that the 6 lb 1 oz William was
here and both mother and baby were fine. When
we inquired how did this happen so quickly, she said, “he came so
fast! I was working at 8:30 in the hospital at
11! He was ready!”
Stephanie said previously that she would send us an email and be
working the following day after he came…I don’t think any of us
believed her for a moment, but she proves time
and time again that she is a woman of integrity and always tries
to hold true to her word. But WOW
Stef. Our advice to you is to “take the day
off.” Hopefully she is resting well. See

By Pan PanHey there Pan Pan Girls, Just a quick note to say Happy Circus Day! I know—“who knew?” One of the things I love most about the circus is watching the people in the audience. That’s right. What with their fixed gazes and open mouths staring at seemingly impossible feats—for me it is a spectacle not to be missed!
If one were to think about it, attributes necessary to be successful in the circus are equally important to living successful empowered lives. With focus, courage, harmony and balance (a little love and laughter never hurt either) we can do any and everything. I wonder if Ringling Brothers knew that when they opened on this day in 1884. I don't know...but I think I am going to paint my face today for the laughter of it all, maybe even wear a clown hat, and experience the circus from a different angle. If i think it may be a spectacle that will make you laugh, I'll share. What will YOU do today, Circus Day, 2010? Whatever it is, remember focus, courage, harmony and balance for today and everyday will bring us through.
