The Journey To Paradise Begins With Jumbled-Up Luggage
By Pan Pan
Most people try to put their best foot forward in their
"undertakings and over doings." It is pretty much human
nature to do our best. For some it's a deep personal
preference, while for others the desire is deeply rooted in
satisfying peers and maybe even glean a little approval.
Neither is right or wrong and probably most of us are some
combination thereof.
So it is with Pandora's Planet and its journey to Paradise.
First, because of complexities surrounding the completion of
Planet Concourse; the Paradise Challenge is forced to launch from
a temporary albeit functional platform - and that
platform still needs work - but should that delay the whole
trip? Certainly, according to the experts, it is a big faux
pas to pre-launch a site--but is it ever really ready?
Truth of the matter is we're always changing, adding and
editing. Who decides what is ok to happen, whether it's
beta, alpha or just plain not ready. I submit...we're
ready...because we're on the Journey to
Paradise--now!
Imagine filling your tank with gas, starting the engine in
preparation for a journey, however you never arrive, the result
of running out of gas because of your obsession with rearranging
luggage in the car. You never reach your destination and
the people on the other side really only wanted to see you?
In web speak; we do have a bit of leeway - were it required -
since this is a social network of a site and
NOT the site itself. Although, that within itself has
quickly become a gray area. So, our journey begins in a way we
find oddly appropriate, without presumed perfection, and with a
challenge to the cliché "it's not the
destination but the journey that counts." Seems
a fairly reasonable challenge, since the destination is
really what Pandora's Planet is all about. And so it
is...we begin our journey--jumbled up luggage, and all.
Paradise Waits For No One. Paradise is Peace, Prosperity and Happiness but Not Perfection...yet!
….. Bottom Line...things will be moving around (you could be watching a movie and POOF it’s gone), added and edited over the next 24 hours. Glad for any feedback, but you may want to wait until 12-12-12 to send OR NOT.
